Sportz III Truck Tents

Camp in the bed of your truck. Features a patented sewn-in nylon floor, a large ventilation, no-see-um mesh, window on each side of tent, a 6' x 6' awning, built-in rainfly, and shock-corded, carbon fiber-wrapped fiberglass color-coded poles for easy set-up. Weight: 20 lbs. Center height: 5'. Sleeps 2. Imported.

That would sure keep you up high and dry for sure. All I got is a cheap 2 man tent. Leaks a bit but I got an air matress. Unless the water is deeper than 6 inches I'm OK.

What happened to the travel trailer you bought? Or did I imagine that?

Well the main thing I like about that tent is like others have said, being off the ground if it should rain. That in itself has mucho merit.
