Thinking of building shooting hut

I am thinking of building a shooting hut. Probably 6 x 6 x 6 with a pitched roof. Just seeing if any one was interested in one . Probably will be able to build it for around $500 or a little less.

Looks good, next one you build put a hair more overhang on the roof and thank me latter.
Yea I thought of that after I cut the metal
Nicely done. I hope you can keep the varmints out of it. *****, owls and such can do unspeakable things to your little hut.
Thinking of putting one on my pipeline right of way but first I'm putting up a two man ladder stand in a particular spot that I'm picking up at the MDS Sporting Clays shoot. If this spot pays off with the ladder stand a permanent stand will be built for my Grandson and me to hunt from in the future.
just asking, what do you guys put down of the floors to make them quiet?

sliding, moving anything on plywood makes a lot of noise, muddy feet, that one rock, sand pebble, scooting the chair etc...

I know HD and Lowe's sell thin rubber mats that would keep the noise down..would not take much

That's what I've used. The rubber pieces snap together... then I also put carpet over it... it totally dampens the sound on metal/scaffolding that I've placed pop up blinds on...
I use indoor-outdoor carpet in my shooting houses on the farm
Those rubber pick up bed liners would work....not the plastic ones. Cut to fit.

Vultures are the worst
You fellas are on the right track. Spend a few extra dollars and use Huber wood on the outside. Get fancy and use SIP panels if you really want something quality. RedGuard can be your friend. Building a platform, then building the enclosure with a walk around porch is easiest without large machinery available. Bucks figure them out and swing wide of them really fast. Don’t put them in tight spots. Semi truck side mirrors make a nice addition to watch your 6. Folding and sliding windows mounted in the same place are handy also. Just open the slider when you start hunting and close it when you leave. Use the folders for shooting. Open both in warm weather if you aren’t running a swamp cooler off a battery with ice water from the Yeti.
Dang Red Wasp are the worst for me.
