I hunt in crawford and we are surounded left right and above in AR. I hope we get it next year.

I`ve hunted Washington, so far, but I`m finishing up in Crawford the next several days. I would love nothing more than to see it added next year. Like you said we`re close, and I was expecting it this year.

Yeah, he was a mainframe 10 with 21 scoreable points, 3 eyeguards on one side and 2 on the other, with lots of kickers and stickers! Three years of trail cam pics, survived being shot by spotlighters, only gave me one look in daylight hours at him, and he disappears into thin air while a small logging job was being done on the property! Never seen him again:whinging:, or heard of him being killed :claphands:

I think ARs should not be implemented in the surrounding counties of KC. We need as many deer dead as possible around here!:cheers:

I think it should be statewide with the exception of the bootheel. Looking at the harvest numbers, it is not lopsided like it used to be with the majority being taken up north. Even with the AR in place those counties still have a similar buck to doe ratio compared to the counties without the AR. It has not affected the harvest #'s so I would say it would only benefit the deer herd as a whole. I think the biggest problem is some hunters don't like being told what they can & cannot shoot.
