What is your stance?
I can see where it is very beneficial.
I can also see the potential for abuse.

I'm sure there will have to be more regulations for hunting purposes.

Here is a good use:

I have been with a ton of family I grew up hunting with these past few days and we have had some pretty interesting conversations about how deer hunting has changed over the years.

I think this technology will become increasingly affordable and likely part of the process for this type of thing in the future. And, there will be a lot of opportunity for abuse.
Drones will be used for in the near future for hunting im betting. Sit in your chair and shoot a booner !

Two MNR or search and rescue boats launched here in southern Ontario this summer for some training on he north shore of Lake Erie. One boat was a little ways off shore doing there thing and the other boat was close enough to shore to witness that they launched their search drone and very soon thereafter the drone took a dive and was doing an under water search I guess. Other boat came over and they all looked overboard into the water wondering.
I am a new commercial drone pilot here in Missouri. I have talked with Jefferson City about the use of drones and like someone stated before, bad people will abuse them and good people will do good things with them. In Missouri it is legal to use a drone to recover your deer. If on public land you must get a special use permit that are given by each district. Dogs are a thing of the past now. Buckle up and tune in because we are going to have some content to blow y’all out of the water. The capabilities of these machines are unbelievable.

I didn’t reread all of this, but any idea approximately how long after the deer expires the heat signal is warm enough to detect?
