on the internet. Things are really getting strange. Ah know this probably belongs in the tech section but ah'm thinkin everyone here might need to run some scans. is a new thingy from Microsoft so you will probably need to be on Internet Explorer to run it. Recommend the "full service scan". is another that's worth a run. Be very patient though, it takes a while to get going but does a pretty thorough job. Also works with Firefox if you have recent Java.

Ah'm a runnin' both right now. Good luck to those on dialup though.

There's a known one out there named Win32/Mywife.E@mm - no kiddin' - that is set to trigger a fairly destructive payload tomorrow ..... something may be hitting early based on what ah'm seeing.

Ah've been known to be paranoid ...... so take this for what it's worth to ya.

UC, just used the one from Microsoft. It took about an hour but it was well worth it. It found 4 viruses! EEkkk!

If we don't open strange e-mails (or attachments) can it still get us?

From what I'm reading about it--it may already be on your machine and laying dorment---until tomorrow!

Up-date your software and locate the removal tool and have it ready----

If anyone is running CA's eTrust AV...they are investigating a problem with an update error that yields a fatal error (#3 I think). Expect a fix "soon". :)

I'm proud to say, I chucked the ol' dial-up service today...

I finally got the WildBlue Satellite Internet Service installed this morning!

Now I can finally check out all these updates/upgrades, without having to worry about downloading for hours...not to mention video's, etc... :dancin:

    Thanks for the links, guys...
