The rut is on

    Dates right, time hasn’t fallen back yet. Hardly any Nov sign this year. But it’s showing up now. Rubs, scrapes, fights. There were lots of Nov fights too tho. Including w the big guy in these pics. I think he looks 3.5. The other big one I had summer/early fall that I thought was 4.5 hasn’t shown back up.

    I watched 4 buck squirrels dogging a big fat doe squirrel Friday morning. Grunting, screeching and fighting. They put on a show.

    Had a nice one chasing a doe today. To bad we were coyote hunting he was 10 yards from my stand.

    While in Kansas this last week, on Wednesday the 27th around noon a doe come over the hill and walked into the woods, with in 30 minutes 5 bucks followed the same path, no shooters though. The largest 110 8 pointer freshened up a scrape before getting back to following the doe..
