I have cussed the COE many times, but it seems to me that they are slowly filling the pool with eyes on the sand boil, if the sand boil doesn't increase in leakage we may have a late season.. if the boil starts to drain, look out they may drop the river level in a few hours... and you might be stranded till they fix the boil.. Watch your water levels...

I dont understand but the pool has raised to almost normal, today....

To the guys that hunted today, please keep in mind when the water is three foot deep and you have 2.5 ft waves, going into the wind works pretty well, but trying to get back to the ramp you may struggle to keep your outboard running as you coast over the wave tops the prop will smash the river bottom and the motor will die...The waves will rock you sideways and you will capsize., Wear a PFD, take care and dont make hasty decisions at the ramp.. maybe wait for another day!!! PLUS the birds don't fly in weather like today....
