This video is basically the way I've been making my self bows.

I have one now that I'm 90% finished with. Pics to come later. Might just take it to the Bud Shoot this coming Sunday at Marshall Missouri (August 4th 2019)

Took me two weeks to make mine so far.

Buying a compound or crossbow probably only takes a half hour including sighting it in.

Not mine. The string's and cables are woven from unicorn pubic hair.

Pretty sure most crossbows come sighted in out of the box
