My buddy has a good spot on conservation ground and he had this monster step out at 60 yards and he videotaped him. The buck proceeded to come within 24 yards and he was unsure how far he was and used his 30 yard pin and shot right over his back. Now he owns a rangefinder :2thumbsup: What do you guys think this buck scores. Its a mainframe 10 with kickers on the G2s and split browtines. I would guess 165-175 but it dont matter, its a monster either way...

Here is the link to his video

Doesn't surprise me it was on conservation ground. Seen some of the biggest bucks in my life on public ground. Just cause most do not see them does not mean they are not there!! Great buck for sure and thanks for sharing:cheers:

Wow! I hope he gets a second chance. And I feel the same way about the conservation ground. There are some great ones out there because most people just hunt the edges and close to the parking areas. If a person is willing to put in the extra work, there are some monsters to be had in those CAs.

Yep, they know where the majority of the pressure is applied.

Not always true. Seen the biggest buck I have ever had in bow range bedded down 150yds from a parking lot. He prob. watched people walk up and down the road without anyone every knowing he was there. Saw him 3 times but of course I wasn't drawn for that managed hunt. Just out walking the dog. To clarify....I never walked there when hunters were in the area. Nothing worse than having a hunt messed up.
