Shot this buck at managed hunt in KC. Didn't see but 5 deer in 3 days of hunting. Got to meet Droptyne, nice guy.

He's not that big but it was the best opportunity I had. I had to let him go over night and the yotes found him as well and ate his rear end out. I hit him quartering away in the third to last rib and the arrow came out 3 inches behind the crease. Shot him at 1:40pm just as I got in my stand from lunch. Didn't even have my linemans belt undone. Waited 40 minutes and began tracking. Lost blood and backed out to wait on a buddy to help track. We picked the blood up again and the blood was fresh. He bailed off into a creek and we were following blood on the rocks in the creek. We ended up jumping him in the creek and decided to back out and leave him overnight. I picked up the trailin the morning and found him 150yrds further.

Unbelievable how far he went with that shot placement. He went about 700yrds.
