Right on man, good luck! I can’t wait for my next round.

My first hunting trip won't begin til Nov 1st but I'll be out for 14 days. Hope I can put some points on the board during this trip.

Deer was still on his feet when we last saw him, but moving very slow. Wasn't able to put a follow up shot on him so we backed out. We called the owner and got permission to track and recover on the property he was last seen on, so didn't want to bump him any further. We're going back for him in the morning.

Hope you find him.

I was wondering how the tracking went this morning.


Looks like we are in second place as of about 7 a.m. this morning. Team 7 is at 48 points and we are at 40. I'm going to go out in the morning and try to get me a doe. I've been a couple times but haven't had anything in range hopefully that'll change tomorrow.

Good luck to ya! Is it mule deer you're after now or whitetails?

I was unable to get out in search of a doe today maybe tomorrow.

After whitetails now. Once back home in Az it’ll be mule deer that I hunt around my place in the mountains in January

Braved the cold for a bit this evening and went and sat in a stand I had put up by a creek crossing just below my barn a couple weeks ago. I was running late and didn't expect to see much but was hoping for at least one doe.

As to be expected when you're looking for a doe because your buck tag has been filled all I seen were bucks. One forky buck and a 120's 8 point. Hopefully I'll have a chance to try again tomorrow.

I think I’m gonna go buy a mess of trail cams and hit the scouting hard before January. There’s a couple of nice bucks floating around the neighborhood now. Wife was saying she saw the biggest one she’s ever seen over at the neighbors feeder a couple days ago while I was gone. The neighborhood deer are off limits, but he must have a cousin hanging around out in the woods somewhere....

He looks young. Hopefully he'll hide or go where the neighbors can't .
