Has anyone been to taneycomo recently? Hows the fishing with all the gates open?

They've been slaying the browns with the shad coming over. White jigs. I was there just before they opened the gates. Numbers were good but nothing over 18".

Reports from Lilleys Landing are trout are going crazy with shad coming thru the gates. Wish I was there. Check out his web site. Lilleyslanding.com

The big fish went bonkers Sunday. Lilley took some people out and they boated three 20"+ browns and a bow over that mark on top of catching a ton of fish. Chuck Gries, a local guide, took some people out and also boated two browns over the 20" mark that day. The numbers have been excellent and white jigs are working great, but the big fish bonanza has slowed down. The Monkey Island and Landing areas have been stocked heavy lately as well. Lots of great fishing to be had all over the lake right now.

If they open the gates back up in a few days, I know where I'm going this weekend.....
