I think it would be great for a bench shooter, or someone taking extra long range shots. I would like to know what it weights? I like to keep my AR as light as possible. Ounces quickly add up. I'm getting myself a Tango Down Fore grip for Xmas.

Good question...I have no idea what it weighs.

Actually, I'm primarily wanting a vertical foregrip...but the bi-pod would come in real handy on a bench. Plus, I hate laying my rifle on it's side...know what I mean?

Anyways...I was hoping someone might suggest a different model or brand. I've looked, and must be lookin' in the wrong places, 'cause I'm not finding much.

You have a link?

I bought the LaRue QD harris bipod and mount for mine. Does add some weight, but is definitely a steady rest on the bench!!! Pops right off, so I can put the elcheapo plastic forward grip back on, if I want!!!
