Seems some have fun with me eating Suckers. Thing is they right here and we like eating them. Guys have been on the river last few months Gigging them. My wife says we don't need that many so I use Rod and Reel.

Seems I'm not the only one.

Nothing better than cold water sucked right out of the hot oil! I miss fish frys on the bank after gigging.

I'd rather have crappie and goggle-eye. To each their own though.

Had suckers a few years ago. Way better than I ever expected. Maybe not as good as crappie but way better than some of the store bought catfish I have eat.

Suckers are far from a trash fish! I'd take suckers over a catfish any day of the week..

My favorite would probably be crappy or blue gill fillets, after that about any fish. Suckers would be among my favorites of the remainder. Suckers if scored correctly are hard to beat.
