Strange Deal

We got home today from Branson about 5pm. First thing I notice is a deer laying between my utility trailer and building up by the tongue. My first thought was some jerk dropped their deer at my place. My wife and I are looking at him and all of a sudden he lifts his head. Wow hes alive kind of.

I went and looked him over and cant see a mark or hole in him. The only thing I can see is a little blood at the base of one of his spikes. It didnt seem loose but it could be. Maybe he got beat up by a bigger buck, he a pretty big bodied deer. Another thing I noticed was a lot of deer droppings around the area.

I checked my security cam and nobody entered the area but me when I came home so now I dont know if he was disposed of or what. I drug him into the crp to see if he recovers. I hate to kill him and I wont butcher him not knowing his origin.

If it is still there in the morning I would call the agent in your area and put it down.
Was there any damage to your trailer or shed where it would have run into something?

He has moved a little and still alive. Im going to give him some time he doesnt appear to be suffering. Needs a shot of combiotic.

Neighbor found a young deer in his leantoo . It finally got up and walked across the road . It was really grey and white hide ears were rough . I was going to put it down but got on a different neighbor before I could.
