Will and I hit my favorite bluegill hole this morning. Didn't do too bad. Pretty good average size as well.

Found with them Bluegill now they bite soon as the Bait hits the water.

You try for any Catfish. Use to catch several of them out of Stockton?

Oneshot, I was just bluegill fishing this morning. I usually go to Tablerock if I am catfishing. I will be up in your area tomorow. Floating the Niangua with some friends.

Henry, I will put bluegill up against any other freshwater fish as far as quality table fare.

I love em. I don't bother with them unless they are fillet size,, but they are excellent. They are especially tasty when they come out of the early spring water when its usually clearer and cooler. The bite may a little slower, but the food from the effort is top notch.:

Catalpa worms that I froze up last Summer. Break em in half and hold onto your rod.

I hear ya there. They were still biting when we left. Will put up a slight protest about leaving when they were biting and I told him I had all I wanted to clean. He understood
what I meant by the time we were done.

Just wondering I've caught plenty Catfish there and many overlook that lake.

Hey the river is fine and it is suppose to cool down. Have fun.

Told my wife I was thinking about catching half dozen Bluegill and 4 Trout. She says that's months worth of fish.

She don't agree a person can eat fish every day.
