Still no turkey...BUT.....

    This has been the wierdest season to date for me. Turkeys aren't acting normal at all around here. Oh well...lots of season left.
    Today I snapped a few pictures. One of my blind from about 70 yards or so, and some of a visitor I had in my blind this morning.

    I had a groundhog try to come inside the blind with me this morning, that was exciting! I wasn't quick enough to snap any pictures, but a little later this little guy came in to say hello. What exactly is this???

    looks to me like a skink. we have the brown skinks, and the blue tailed skinks back home. the blue tailed ones are pretty cool looking.

    try leaving the state, worked for me last year when the turkeys here weren't acting the way i wanted them to. went and picked on some kansas birds. never did get the turkeys working last year in mo mo.
