If anyone is from St. Charles I would greatly recommend going to "Tequilla."
It's new and is right off Muegge Road. It's pretty much right across from Watson's if that helps.

Caf4... I'm thinkin that it's about a min. from your house...

The parents and I went today and all loved it!
I got the "Pollo Loco" -------- AWESOME!

I really was amazed by this place!

It looks like a really small, hole-in-the-wall place, but when you walk in it is a pretty large and festive place!

Seriously though, it was proly the best mexican food I've ever had!
If you can't decide what to get I'd definatly go with what I got tonight: Pollo Loco.
They even give you tortillas with your meal so you can make your own little tacos out of your meal... an actually authentic thing!

There is a chain in Southern California called El Pollo Loco and they are pretty good as well. Since I have moved here to the Mid West I have yet to find an authentic Mexican place. I suppose the closest has been Fiesta del sol, and then La Carrita. I will have to try Tequila for sure.

I don't guess I'd know if I had "authentic" mexican or not but we've got a couple REAL GOOD places here in JC. One of them is called...what is it.....TACO BELL. Man, that place is good.

For real though, one is called El Jimador (translation: The Gardener.....I asked!) and I can't remember what the other one is called.
