Squeaky Wheels?

1210 Views 14 Replies 11 Participants Last post by  bverboy
I have an old Deer Cart I like but the Wheels squeak.

Is there something I can use to lubercate that don’t have an odor?

A little fat off a deer should work.
Most deer are not familiar with the smell of axle grease.

Thought of just squirting oil on them but I know some smells Deer will stay clear of.

I was thinking of using it to haul my gear into the woods.

Who gives a f? The deer is already dead when carting it out.

I think they are drawn to oil and rubber. Lots of vehicles damaged by deer running into them in my area.
Well if I’m able have one place I can hunt from my Pickup during Firearms Season. If I’m able to this year.

I know Archery Season is out.

Well I can’t drive my Pickup back there. Tried a Jeep and it was close but there is an Elevated Stand back there that I won’t use.

My wife says I could take my Blind back there and leave it. I told her we needed to wait and see.

Why over think this, just have the old lady drag the deer out, and have the big grin whiz on the axle

Why not use the stand?
Because I can't get up in an Elevated Stand but I've done well last 20 years from the ground.

Food grade silicone lube. What we use on the meat grinder. Just discovered it works awesome to lube syringes up also.
We bought ours at Cabelas in the grinder section.
