Absolutely CP. You can lead a Parker to water, but you can't make him read.Originally posted by Center Punch

Ok. I'll buy that. That's certainly a big part of putting a tag on a Turkey.Originally posted by jmmcguire
Not so if you're bow hunting. Getting that bow drawn is quite a chore. It ain't just "watch and shoot"!!
But there doesn't seem to be any real chess game type hunt like there is with Turkey. If there is and I'm not seeing it, then that may be a good reason I'm not a better deer hunter.

I was surprised....they're only 5 bucks! There's no Staples around here though. Probably cost you another 10 in shipping.Originally posted by Rebelcj7

It does seem like that a lot of the time when you are gun hunting, especially since you can drop the hammer on the deer from afar.Originally posted by Center Punch
The way I see it, the hunt part is over once you reach your stand / blind. Just watch and hopefully shoot. Then if you shoot, there might be a hunt if a tracking job is needed.

Also, IMHO there is an art to moving when in the presence of deer that are in or are approaching bow range.
