This may show my ignorance for trapping laws but is it really ok to set traps without having a permit of some sort? Also, what about the health of the animal? Does the trap break their leg? Plus, being in a trap has got to expose the animal to a lot of stress that may hinder their survival.

I'm not jumping on anyone but I'd sure like to know.

let me clear this up a little i have a legal fur takers permit but the great state of pa has a draw system for bobcats and i dont have one this year but i can still trap other things that are legal, fox, coyote, ect no the trap does not break there leg!!!!! like alot of people think the cat was fine i have caught and let go lots of them unharmed!!! i have to so they can kill more turkeys and fawns.

I confused at first to, thinking you were from MO. That sure stinks about the no permit thing. That is a great looking cat. Cool pictures.

This has got to be the dumbest thing I have ever heard of along with the Dr. Alt deer management plan. I think the PGC needs to take a serious look at what it is doing.

Still a nice cat though.
