Had to go to Cozad Nebraska yesterday for work. Was coming up 29 North and I bet a THOUSAND DOLLARS there were several million Snows and Canadians on the ground and in the air. I do not hunt geese or ducks. Are snows bigger than Canadians ?? They sure look like they are.

Nope they were close to the highway. I was coming up 29 north in Iowa when I seen all the geese.

:cheers: You see any big groups coming down, they are quite a sight coming down

Also will never figure how you can lie in a layout in the middle of nowhere with 200 plus decoys and an e-caller, they pass right by you and land next to an interstate :boohoo:

Swans are bigger than canadians. Theres a few around my house that fly over. Pehaps them are the bigger birds you saw.

Saw what had to be several million covering a huge field along 29 south of tarkio exit along 29 sunday.

I know a guy who shot one at Shanks or one of the MDC places nearby. It's hanging there mounted.

There were thousands of white pelicans on the river near Grafton, Il last Sunday. Did not see any snow geese.

That's simple silly boy - they let the ever optimistic deer hunter do the count vs. the always pessimistic waterfowl hunter!

Deer hunter count = 1,413,325

Waterfowl hunter = 1,413,324

Tons of them around Smithville Lake the past 3 weeks or so. I was passing 3-4 big feeds every night on the way home around Trimble, pburg, and lathrop.
