just got a new slug barrel for my mossberg 12 ga ultra mag and was wondering want brand of slugs you guys have used with great results. thanks:banana-man-yeah:

Federal Hydrashock. federal kicks butt. i recommend it for all shotguns. slug or shot!

my wife's old 870 rifled slug barrel was very picky.. at $3 per Sabot slug finding the right one can be VERY expensive.

If your shots are going to be 50 +/-yrds or less I might suggest trying the Foster type slugs... much cheaper and at 500 grns will put the smackdown to whatever it hits
