No photo at the time of kill but I still have the rack. Took this Monster back in 1976. I jumped him on the way to my stand on top of a ridge in the dark and decided to back up a couple hundred yards and make a big circle and ended up ahead of his travel route. Right at day break he came strolling by at 30 yards. He was a Boone and Crocket in my book.

edit.....found my photo....see my other post on this thread.

My first deer was a 6" spike unicorn. (One side broken off). It was in the 70s, though I don't know which year. It was on COE land around Lake Wappapello, I shot him with my .444 Marlin and eventually used the antler as a knife handle. I still have it in the safe.

[rquote=1486686&tid=103868&author=BowtechAdm]how do you post pics in a thread that has already been started? [/rquote]

if its hosted on a photo site such as photobucket then just add the img codes

if its on your computer in the lower right hand corner click post reply (not the very bottom quick reply) and then scroll down and find browse... browse to the picture and post away

Don't use the quick reply. Use the regular reply button and you'll get the Browse button at the bottom.

Use the "post reply" button rather than the quick reply box...

It is grey and can be found in the top right corner of the thread and the bottom right corner of the thread next to the "new topic" and "new poll" options.
