No photo at the time of kill but I still have the rack. Took this Monster back in 1976. I jumped him on the way to my stand on top of a ridge in the dark and decided to back up a couple hundred yards and make a big circle and ended up ahead of his travel route. Right at day break he came strolling by at 30 yards. He was a Boone and Crocket in my book.

My first deer was a 6" spike unicorn. (One side broken off). It was in the 70s, though I don't know which year. It was on COE land around Lake Wappapello, I shot him with my .444 Marlin and eventually used the antler as a knife handle. I still have it in the safe.
