Well it's pretty slow around here, and I stumbled upon this today, this is probably one of my favorite if not most favorite deer pictures I have taken, hard to imagine it has been almost 7 years. He is starting high school this week, I'm getting old, youngest is starting kindergarten, WOW!

talk about an intense morning as light was breaking!

Favorite dead deer: first coues buck fell to a 78 yard neck shot. Longest kill shot to date and worst pack out. Took 1.5 hours to hike in and 3.5 to come out with this little critter.

Favorite live deer: probably nicest trail cam pic I ever got. Good buck and the timing was perfect the way the sunrise lights up that velvet.

My dad didn't deer hunt but helped me anytime I got one. This was my first antlerd deer. Shot it with dad's ole model 94 Winchester. As dad gets more feeble these days these pictures become more precious. Picture of a picture

This one was easy to find on my phone. I've got others but it would take a lot of digging to find them.

Yes....Snowman did it I believe. He took the original photo. Still cool how he put me in the mountains with my very first muzzle loader kill in my opinion.
