I planted wheat along the edge of my clover plot and its getting pretty tall probably 8 inches or so. I get pictures in the clover and I don't think the deer are eating the wheat. I know deer like new growth so can you mow it? and this time of year?

That's probably the best thing you try. Now would be a good time for it. I generally wait until October to plant wheat to keep it from gettinggetting too tall to be good forage.
