....and it was GREAT.

I was at a my dealers shop today when his initial order came in. My 337 didn't make it but we put together a 334 just as soon as we got it outta the box with a Ripcord Dropaway and a Viper sight.

It was awesome. Very smooth through the draw cycle, no hand shock with only a moderate weight hunting stabilizer. Winners Choice string. String leeches and Limbsavers factory installed. And QUIET! With the arrows I was shooting (about 324 grains) the 334 set at 59 pounds chrono'd at 286 I believe it was. Pretty dogon good.

You can feel and see the quality in these bows by just looking and handling them. It's no big news but Ross is THE up and coming bow maker on the market. AND they are made right here in MO!

Can't wait to get my hands on a 337 and get it rigged up!

A few of us had the chance to meet Doug Hitchinson in Marshall a few weeks ago (fireman you were picking up targets) and he enlightened us on the process they use to make the bows. Last week we shot next to a couple of the staff shooters and I have to admit that they were the quietest bows on the course. There was a noticeable difference from them and the Switchback and Trykon. Good move Kurt, I hate you:hysterical:

They're movin in to the new building in april, and its just a couple blocks from where they are now, in granview. One of the shooters last week said they have grown quiker than any other new bow maker. Talked to Doug up there a few weeks ago, and he said they will have a speed bow out next year, I think. He designed them mainly for huntin bows though. They sure are purty. DSG think you'll have your new 1 by this weekend?

Nope. Hate that but I won't. IF it comes in today I still won't be able to get it together, gotta come up your way to a funeral today which is gonna take the whole day. :frown:

Thanks for the info on the company Bodoodle! Good to hear there's someone here in the know!

My husband has a Ross Bow and is in love with it, maybe more than me. I have a friend who works at Ross Bows and has been there since the beginning. She can help you get one and she processes all orders. Let me know if I can help anyone.
