Not the LOZ gator but a long nose gar.

Shot it this morning while bowfishing Bull Shoals with my son Jamie. Shot several smaller one's 2 to 3 footers but this is my first 5 footer. Spring scale weight at 20 lbs, Berkley digital scale said 18.5lbs. Shot it dead center in the spine about 6 inches behind the head at approximately 8 yards from the boat. Jamie shot backup and hit it closer to the tail and probably wouldn't of gotten it in if it wasn't for him as my shot didn't penetrate to deep hiting the spine. Jamie is 5ft 3in's.
