    Only shot she presented without busting me, so I took er down!
    Figured 25 ft and put the pin in her ear but was 30 and a slight drop down....but scored

    Field dressed weight 155 and approx age by tooth wear is 4 1/2 will be submitting this one for testing and age cert

    Brad,I just figured since everyone here is posting all these nice rutting bucks that I should break the manotony and post a doe that was in heat, the next doe pic will be the doe I poke I'n the melon from a minimum of 150 yds with the smoke pole! I set self accomplishments this year and already dumped 1 at 207 yds w/ML, 1 at 15 feet in the neck, and this one at 30 feet in da melon, one more to go! Mind you all these does where shot off the ground with only grass cover

    Just curious as to why you go for the melon and not the boiler room?

    Fair enough. I wouldn't consider myself confident enough to go for such a small vital and it sounds like you got lucky that she ducked into your arrow otherwise you could end up with this. . .
