Had the Mrs. doing chores and I was having a cool one while I was feeding the animals and happen to see a yote running thru the back 30 ran into the house grabbed my .270 ran back out to the deck made a high pitch noise yote stopped and I popped. Dead dog @ 147 yards. checked it with the range finder. My wife started yellin theres another one so it kept running around the one that just dropped and I finally took another shot (it was looking right at us) I just missed cause he took off like a mighty scared pup. Not sure but my guess its in Mexico by now.

Darn yotes been giving my lab and pointer hard evenings not to mention keeping us up at night with the barking. May get it made into a rug since has a nice coat. only $185.00 for the tanning.

yep alot of fun indeed....gave me a reason to bust out some grey goose. (like I need a reason) my wife was laughing cause she was watching out the window said heard the bang, dog disappeared and when the 2nd came up she was yelln theres another one theres another one shoot, shoot. I shot and missed..oh well. Couldnt get her any where close to that thing after retrieving it from the field........... just wonder how much trouble I'll be in after I turn it into a rug.:rotfl:
