Fast forward to this year, we bought her a mission crossbow and she practiced with it and I gave her some tips on bow hunting vs rifle season.
Yesterday morning was her first ever sit. At 720 a pair of does came to my little kill plot. 11 yards slightly quartering to her through near side shoulder out through the liver. 70 yard easy track job was all she wrote.
I was sitting close enough to hear the crossbow and hear the death run. You would of thought she killed a 180" buck when I showed up lol.
