They'll raise more money for polar bear conservation by allowing limited hunting than any other way. It's happened again and again through history, if something doesn't pay it's own way it will end up getting pushed out by something that will.

Hunting them shouldn't be too hard, just lay out on the ice in a seal suit and they'll be in bow range in no time. :whiteflag:

Not me, one of the things I have no interest in shootin. Now a brown bear I'd be all over. Polars are like zebras to me, to cool to shoot.

You can already hunt polar bears in Canada. The problem is you can’t import any part of it into the us.

This law would allow you to bring the meat to fish and fowl

    In a barn
I'd shoot one and instead of smoking a celebratory ciiiigar I'd eat a celebratory Klondike bar after!

I don't have a urge to hunt bears at all for some reason.

I think I would leave that with the local sealsuckers. All the polar bear I've ever eaten tasted worse than walrus. But be sure and knock down a few musk ox while you're there. They taste better than new born elephant calves.

I’d rather do a silverback gorilla hunt, so why not a polar bear. :D

Somewhat agree, but might be fun to go with a group and skewer a black bear. A grizzly would be pretty intense, hunting the top of the food chain. Grizz and polars are way outta my budget

Could the MDC get a few started here so we can draw more out of state hunters?
