    Check out this spur!!! It was found on another site and sent to me!!!

    ok call me doubting thomas
    but the record spur according to nwtf is 2.25" or any species of turkey so if that is even close to real that is a new record but i aint buying it as a wild bird domiscated perhaps

    but what a LIMBHANGER

    Note that the measurement shown begins at the 1" mark, not the 0 mark, and is over 2 (not 3) inches long. And while it would still be a record, it isn't out of the question.

    Besides the statements above, the measuring method is not correct.

    NWTF states:

    "Spurs must be measured along the outside center, from the point at which the spur protrudes from the scaled leg skin to the tip of the spur. "

    The curve does not count.

    My best guess is that it under 2". Still impressive.
