With our aging membership I think it would be great to have a senior citizen forum. I mean we have a Dutch Oven Cooking forum, traditional archery, and even a mountain man forum that never get used. I think a Senior Forum would be a big hit. What do ya'll moderators and members think?

How old would one need to be to participate? And, how would you keep the youngsters out? You can't really pose a question to verify, as has been proven, with google, any ID10T can find the answers to just about anything on google... :D

What if I identify as a senior citizen? Would I be welcome?

Of course, it's all about diversity, even divesity withing a very select group.

Be, who you identify with, not with what you are. All those people who used to say, just be yourself, just are not with modern times. It's all about being who you want to be. :wave1:

I want everyone to feel at home in their safe place and welcome no matter who or what they identify as.

Would be a good place for stories about broken hips, buffets, bingo, and general complaints about society today ("back in my day")

Good place to document whether you can poop or not. It could serve as a calendar of sorts?

So if a person is regular, maybe they don't belong, as they might identify with being a younger person.....

I think a senior forum would be great.
    I know I fit in..to begin with I am RETIRED...then
2 hip replacements, a shoulder replacement, Major foot rebuild, many concussions and broken bones, Liquidy BMs, 3 or more bathroom trips nightly, penal activity is negligible, meaning No prison time< or any other penal activity, only lost one tooth so far and I knocked it out myself, pulling on an outboard rope, but the motor started...

I think it would be terrific, but I have a confession.... I stole the new forum idea.

    Three words. Trump's tall wall.

If they don't come legal and have green cards then they sure aren't buying deer tags from MDC!
