Bin-run corn will make a stand but there will be a lot of variability in the stand. It may have short and tall plants and short and long ears depending on the parent plants. The stand will not be as pretty as the pictures in the magazines.
Most open-poll corn available will generally be very tall, like silage corn. Wildlife will still be attracted to either type. I'm using some some corn left over from last year, if the germination rate is still reasonable.
