Seed Corn sources

What are you guys doing for seed corn? The hybrid stuff is pretty spendy. I found some open-pollenated seed for $37 per 50#.

I understand the "bin-run" corn from a hybrid planting will sprout but not put on much of an ear.

On the rare occasion we do corn in our plots, I just ask the coop for the cheapest treated seed corn they have. I think the last time it was around $60 for a bag. But we got a good stand and with no fertilizer behind a three year old clover plot, it probably produced about 30 bushell corn. The deer had no complaints and we only had $60 in almost 3 acres of the stuff.
