Do you mean correctly or off to the right.
It's supposed to cool here tomorrow so if it isn't raining I'll make my first hunt of the season with the ds.
Its shooting correctly, i am testing it all of this month. I have went 3 mornings, broke a Micro limb Sunday morning
I did purchase a DS. Haven't got to shoot it but two different times. So far I really like it. Nice trigger. Have you guys tried any fixed blade broadheads with the DS?
I shot some Striker 100gr G5 B-heads it shoots decent with them. I may try a slick trick thru it later this week see what happens
Death Stalker update anyone? Is the trigger as good as I hear it is? I wish there was one close to shoot...Thanks
I think its one of the better triggers in crossbows. I like mine, i see yer down in the boothill n i am over here in Howell county
Man I'm thinking it may be my 1st crossbow purchase I have so many folks tell me a 500.00 Parker will do just as well but I'll pay for quality if it's worth it. Yes here in the bootheel where we are finally starting to see deer and turkey. Some places still have no turkeys BUT this flat land is easy walking! LOL
I am not a fan of Parker nor Barnett from jump street n there are several others pigs in a poke. They have gotten the most of the issues taken care of. Mine is shootin less than 2" groups at 50 yds. You may find someone that owns one closer to you that would be willing to let you shoot it. I am certainly willing to let you shoot mine. They have a riser bump the sled hits as you cock it with the sled. They have been coming with terrible strings on them. So its not all roses with this model but will be fixed in the 2nd model next yr.
I just may have to take you up on shooting it towards the end of October when I drive to Oklahoma for muzzle loader deer season. I've considered driving to Iowa and buying one straight from Scorpyd hoping for an updated one? I'll sure be in touch on my late October travel plans. I appreciate it !!
Well if'en you wish to shoot it when coming thru to Oklahoma. I can be available n even put a target in my truck to meet out on the main Hiway n a sand bag
That sounds excellent Vixenmaster! It will be around 27th or 28th..I'll give you plenty of warning and sure hope it works out!!
We shall make it work out
Mr. Vixenmaster I have researched some new videos via BING search and I'm sold!! I'm buying a DeathStalker!! What broadhead would you recommend? I thank you for the offer to shoot yours!! I'm sold!
Yes sir I'm so convinced the Parker brand has Value written all it. Thanks!!
Which B-Head do you like ? Fixed n or Mech. I like NAP Spitfire XXX n the regular ones 100 gr. I put a single band on mine, 3/16" heavy duty fer Insurance! I dislike surprises, i got 100 of them n can n will send you a dz in an envelope if'en you want them, bands that is not the Spitfires
Vixenmaster Im still a bit old fashioned...what is your thoughts on a fixed? Would the DS make the fixed try to dance too much? I like what G5 has to offer they are so sharp! Should I quit being so old fashioned ??
I have not even tried a fixed blade B-Head out of mine. I do like the Striker G5, i use them from my slowest Excal
I use mechanicals because of the blade cut. Most fixed blade heads that have a large cut are too heavy for my liking, and tend to plane because of the wide blades. The faster the bow the more likely a head will fly erratic and blade width contributes heavily in that.
