I couldn't think of a better place to let the word out on a new SCAM ! If you are aware thats great, but if not Many should be spared the expense ! You could get a phone call from a person stating that he is a telephone company REP, and that he would like you to help with a test of your phone line. He will then ask you to press 90 and the pound sign , then hang up . DON'T DO IT ! What you would be doing is giving permission for this person to use your phone number, for calls, INCLUDING LONG DISTANCE ! PRISONERS IN JAIL USE THIS as well as others. ITS been checked with several phone companys and they all seem to reconize it, AS FACT ! THOUGHT YOU SHOULD KNOW .
