Has anyone held or shot one yet?

I know where I can get a heck of a deal on a new one but he doesn’t have any in stock at this time.

I haven’t held one but I would buy the first chance you get sight unseen. If you don’t like it I guarantee you will be able to sell or trade it and not loose a penny.

According to Ruger's website, they won't be shipping out of the plant until Mid-May, BUT, they use the same grip frame as the Single-Six or Blackhawk, so they should feel the same, only lighter weight.

They HAD said they'd start shipping in mid-May, but I just learned that they'll start shipping to jobbers/dealers tomorrow (4/26). According to one of the local shops around here, they have a waiting list, and they'll be selling for $179 from that shop. That IS a heckuva deal, roughly the same price as a Heritage Rough Rider, with Ruger's customer service.
