I plan on spraying my 1.5 acre corn food plot tomorrow. Corn is 6-8 inches tall. I borrowed my dads 25 gallon tank and boom sprayer for my 4 wheeler.

It is not too bad but I have some milk weed and grasses coming in. Some rag weed showing up too.

How much RU per tank should I use for this application.

Generic RU, I usually use between 1 & 1 1/2 qt per acre. It's a good idea to fill up the sprayer with plain water & run it through to see how far a tank will go. An acre is approx 200'x200' On my mule, I can spray 3/4 acre with a 10' boom per 15 gallon tank.

Yes it is a generic, cropsmart brand. I guess I'll go with 1.5 quarts per tank and spray an acre per tankful. That should get the job done.

    Thanks PW

The longer you wait to spray the more weed will have emerged and you'll be getting more bang for your buck. If they are not thick enough you feel they are stunting your intended crop I would wait.(.02)
