Last sunday missed a doe at 29 yards, ducked my arrow. Tonight shot over the back of yet another one... guess thats what I get for making fun of my buddy that has missed a couple times this year. Btw these were my first misses in over 3 years. Hopfully my luck changes soon.

hang tough and keep at it, i always tell myself a clean miss is better than a botched shot, makes me look at it in a different light

Misses happen, ain't much you can do about it. Just wish I had the opportunity to cut loose and let an arrow or bullet fly. My brother had never missed a deer before this year. Missed one last sunday of rifle season, then missed a big buck last night with his muzzleloader, twice. Then a little later another buck came out and he missed it too. I'm laughing at him for it cause he's always been ****y about never missing, now 4 times in less than a month, but sure wish he would have connected so we'd have meat in the freezer.

Most of my misses have either been me rushing the shot or taking a shot through thick brush. It happens to all of us. Don't dwell, make sure your gun is still sighhted in correctly and press on with pride
