Rock\'s & Petrified Wood

Here are some Rock's I picked up along the way. I think one piece is Petrified Wood, the thin black Rock, I believe to be a Charm or was gonna be... Necklace whatever you wanna call it. I know my Friend found one like that... and it already had a hole in the Stone for a Chain or String in his. Mine does'nt, but is about the same shape and size as his.

... I think the brownish red colored one (bottom left) would sure skip good. Found it in a Field the other Day. It's flat... and about the right size. That little black one (top right) is too thin. The one (top middle) I believe to be petrified wood. It has grain in it, but with texture of a Rock... Pretty bizzare! :wave:

Cool Rat... not really familiar with that term, but kinda know what a Kettle is. Some kind of cooking Tool?

I found that one in the middle of a gravel Road down close to a Town called **** Island... after the Grader came through.

Cool rocks.... the one with the lines looks like it was used for an abrader(for making tools).. but if it was found in agravel road they may very well be blade marks also...... Nice rocks though

Thanks for the reply Paleo, it could've just wound up in the Road over time who knows. My Friend that lives down that way, said there used to be a Railroad through there at one time also... He has a nice display case of Point's he's found over the Year's. I know that Rock fits my hand nicely, and has groove's around one end of the Rock, where my Finger's can grip the Rock.
