I paid around 500 for one (blue barrel and LH) in good condition just a few years ago. Check your serial number for a trigger recall, quite a few of the 700s were recalled but I don't remember off hand what years. Mine went back to the factory for the repair, but most people I've talked to installed an aftermarket replacement as an upgrade instead.
Remington 700 BDL price?
I have a chance to purchase a gun from a friend. What’s a 1967 Remington 700 BDL in 7mm mag with original stainless steel barrel worth? Gun is all original and in good condition. Are there any problems to look out for in that year model?

That vintage will have the Walker trigger that was recalled, I personally never had a problem with one and would not have a problem shooting it as-is but just be aware. The stainless barrel should be blued from the factory and could be a Hart, look for a small heart shaped stamp near the receiver. If the barrel is a Hart and hasn't been abused there is a good chance that the rifle will be a tack driver. I would probably pay a little more for one of this vintage in good shape than I would for a new one. It's really hard to say what a gun is worth with out actually seeing it but depending on condition I would guess somewhere between $300.00- $500.00.

Cannot go wrong with a BDL. The stainless barrel is not factory.
Remington sold quite a few magnum rifles with blued, stainless barrels in the early days of the 700, I have personally seen 7mm Remington Magnum and .300 Winchester Magnum with factory stainless barrels.The stainless barrel is not factory.
