I am looking for a Springfield 1903 in good shootable condition to trade for. Im located in Columbia and could meet someone at a reasonable distance from there.

You and half million other shooters, been watching the big military mail order places, most '03s are listed as non-shooting collectors. Figure if I find one I can have it shipped to the gun shop I use to work at and have the wife sign for it, but haven't found one yet. Am thinking I might go for good K98 Mauser.

NAHHHH...I buy the Mauser as a consolation.......Then when a nice '03 shows up I tell the wife "Dang look at that, I might never have a chance like this again." Then I have both a nice K98 AND an '03
