Notta a problem I think that I made mine in early August of right $7 dollars and it kinda worked

When I say kinda worked I don't think there was much deer traffic though that area (new hunting ground and just throw it out there to see if they were moving though there or not)

Add-ons could be any kind of mineral you think would attract them. I just tried to come up with something that was cheap. It will get hit hardest in the summer. Great for trail cam pics.

:D I've heard a couple packets of grape Kool-aide can get things stirring too. :D I have not tried it.....just heard.

I use this one also...I use a 3# coffee can to mix my "parts" on location, instead of using the whole 200# all at once!!!

My recipe calls for 1 part DiCal, 1 part Livestock rocksalt, 2 parts trace min. salt....but extra salt can't hurt, it'll just harden thier arteries quicker...lol.:2thumbsup:

I first seen this mix from horntagger...seems he got it from a guy at the MDC...

That is the correct mixture, but throwing in some molasses or Parkers soda mix won't hurt it.

Take before and after pics...you will be amazed.

"but throwing in some molasses"

Except that it will make it bait because molasses is a food.
