Got a call to help recover a deer this afternoon north of Paris. Would have been a lot shorter track, BUT we spent 30-40 minutes at last blood trying to find the track. Turns out we were about 10 yards away and I was too busy looking down to look over in the thick stuff. Very small amount of blood due to no exit would.

This is awesome thanks for sharing! Can you elaborate more about the shot angle, distance, blood color, his opinions of shot placement when called, or any information to assist newer folks to hunting details that could be important and overlooked by the average tracker.

Been a long day. I will try to provide details tomorrow from what I recall. I am a rookie myself as this is just our second season so I strive to at least be average myself :) If you want real knowledge you need to get in touch with Doc Brady
