Well I just completed selling the rest of my ice fishing stuff and need to re invest the funds into " Outdoor stuff "! Other wise it might be absorbed into the " House hold stuff " fund:eek: So as a beginner turkey hunter, what better place to shelter money!:D

Decoy flock
Bobblehead decoy
The Freak friction call
Box Cutter call
A dbl reed mouth call (Thats takeing some gettin use to)
Comp n Choke tube
Pachmar recoil pad
Crow call
Owl call
Pop up blind
Box of 3&1/2" #5s Fed Turkey loads
Paint for the gun

I'm a firm believer if you don't use it, you loose it! Especially in marraige!:D

Yes, I have...any of those vests would be nice....I'm still using the first one I bought, prolly 15 yrs ago...but, last spring one of the zippers on the pocket where I keep my friction calls broke....hate to give up all the "good medicine" in the old vest, but I'm thinkin I need a new one!!! I like the ones with the padded backrest built in too!!!

I got myself a fleese (sp) back pack that holds my three decoys plus all of my calls and a water bottle and room for more stuff. Mine is camoed so I take it off while sitting against a tree. One of those folding foam cushions with back rest works great. I also have one of those innertube types that raises you off the wet ground. Once your "Buttocks" get wet you ain't to comfortable anymore. It's good for safety sake to carry an orange bag to carry your bird in once you get one. I still don't understand how someone can confuse a 6 foot tall hunter walking through the woods carrying a turkey for a live one?????

I'd sure like to have one of those vest/seat combos where you don't have to sit against a tree. That way you could be comfy sitting in a brush pile or a tangle of vines or bushes or something. That Cabela's turkey catalog rocks.

Vest/seat is a must have if you are to be mobile and comfortable.

We had a hen lock us up for over 2 hours last spring and it was awesome to be able to be comfortable.

I also like a coyote howler for locating birds in the evening. Works real good for those roosted Toms.
