me and a buddy from work went out to creve coeur achery range in the woods and were coming out about 4:45 tonight....and what do i see walking 40 yards in front of me?

An albino doe!~

I almost crapped myself after seeing it, and grabbed the phone to get a few quick photos. It went out in a little field and me and my buddy went to the edge of it and watched her and the three other does and 8 pointer (still both sides attached) for a little bit with my binoculars.

I plan on taking out the digital camera and getting some good pictures of her. I saw a thing on the local news awhile back of one and didnt realize where the picture was taken, (my buddy filled me in). It caught me totally offguard and i would never expect to see one like that .........especially in a wooded archery range!:cheers:

i just thought id share my unexpected excitement

I just hope someone doesnt take her out, or having a "miss" on the archery range.

i have a few shots on the camera phone but they arent the best quality, so ill try later this week. Id like to get a nice one to use as a desktop. My moms camera is one of dem dare technological ones and takes some great ones. I need to look for my data cable for this phone and ill try and upload the pics. Or ill just post the digital ones when i see her next week

If you ever go to Bethel MO, stop by the Festhall. They have an albino deer mounted on the wall in a glass case! It's really awesome!

Legacy, the archery range sits on the hill above Creve Coeur Lake, take 270 to Dorsett and head west until you hit a T in the road, make a right and it will be on your left

Boy, that's something you don't see advertised everyday! Just harrasing you chuck, I grew up around there as well, no most of the story around that ole boy!

i couldnt go today , valentines is tommorrow and wednesday i gotta work. Im shooting for thursday to get some photos hopefully. From what i hear this deer hangs around the area so im pretty sure she isnt gonna be to far away. Ill probably see her around the same time in the same place hopefully

MrB--- If I shot a real albino I would want it to be mounted like it looked in the wild... with pink eyes and nose, ect.
