Anybody have one of these? Any good.
It looks like they are made for Bass Pro/Cabelas on sale $120
says range of 700 yards, I only need 60 yards

I know some guys wnt the red read-out but with me not seeing red I would think blacck would work just fine
I have a 12 year old Nikon right now, it works

they also have the Bushnell Prime on sale $140 cannot find reviews for either

Usually the lower priced ones work as intended, but the beam it sends out is usually quite wide the farther it goes. At 700 yards, you better be looking at something large, otherwise, it won't pick it up.

yeah, I do not have a 700 yard arrow. It will hardly pick up an antelope at 100 yards, and then yu have to hitt a white spot. It also has a real narrow field of view and real poor optics
I stopped in at Bass Pro, Thursday, before the big sale started. the old fart behind the counter, said the pursuit is being discontinued is why they are on sale.
He was not much of a salesperson, just there to get a check..I got tired of asking him things he should have been telling me, so I left....

I went all over the place, checked out range finders, checked reviews on line drove the wifey crazy and all that stuff\

here is some info

If you go to Bushnells site they have the DX 1000 arc for $145, our local Farm &Home store has them on sale for $243
I checked it out, wide field of view, had 3 MOA setings for you rifle guys, it did have a light tint to it though, not much but a little, just about the same as the Nikon Arrow $179

I ended up buying the Leopold Marksman 1000, on sale at BP and Cabelas this week, $149 reg $229 it has a clear sharp view, not as wide as the 2 above, 365 @1000 instead of 395

it is the same as the Marksman 950 sold in other stores. I tried out a bunch with price of 225 and under. I did try out the Kilo 1000 it had a red numbers, but when I took it outside in bright sun, aiming at trees the red was hard to see against light brown grass..
Nikon prostaff 550 was nice

what I wanted to try out is the new Hawke 400-600 700, specs are good, price 180ish, but really I could not find one review and it is mail order only, accuatly could not find one customer reviews on any of the 6 range finders by Hawke. I think it is an australian company cause every one in US said 2 weeks for shipment but UK stores had them in stock..
