Quercus Alba growth rate

This was an acorn collected off an alba from my farm. The tree seems to always have acorns and those acorns have been more vigorous than other albas I've started from seed. The growth rate seems to be really good far as Alba goes. Acorn was planted in 2016.

Up to 40" of total growth now in one season...that has to be impressive for an alba.

Amazing. That thing is loving life there.

It's an acorn off the white oak from my farm that hasn't missed a year yet of production. When I've planted acorns off this tree to compare to other white oaks they're just more vigorous.

The taproot is larger with more feeder roots compared to the other white oaks.

I posted a pic of the tree in another thread in this section.

It is a good 15’ now from an acorn in 2016. That is a 5’ ladder.
